Penn State ACCESS ID
Every person affiliated with Penn State University has what is known as an ACCESS ID. This account is linked with services offered by the university, not specific to any one department. The ACCESS ID contains a username in the format abc1234 and is linked services such as:

Your Penn State account grants you the following permissions:
- Access to any Athletics-maintained computer.
- Access to the network file shares for your department.
